I re-visited the stall recently and found it now operates at the new food court but still at the same location, Medan Selera MBPJ Jalan 12. The council have demolished the old zinc food court and built new one with more convenience and manageable place.

Restoran & Katering Salero Negori – Subang Jaya, Selangor

Restoran Salero Negori is one of the well-known restaurants that serves Negeri Sembilan and Padang cuisine. This restaurant also provide catering service for function or event. Besides of this Subang Jaya branch, Salero Negori also have 4 other branches in Persiaran Gurney, Kelana Jaya, Amcorp Mall and Kelab Shah Alam. The interior is well-decorated with sort of classic wooden separator which divides between outside and inside seating tables.

Restoran Puti Bungsu Batam – Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur

It is really easy to find this restaurant, just located at Lorong Yap Kwan Seng of Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, nearby the KLCC. It is just beside Restoran Kampung Pandan, at the renovated bungalow became restaurant. The place was not crowded at all because it was Sunday lunch hour, I believe. I managed to park inside the restaurant compound but I think it would be difficult to get a parking during weekdays because I saw the parking space quite limited furthermore the roadside is prohibited parking spot.

Nasi Padang (Part 4) – Restoran Garuda Emas – Raja Alang, Kg. Baru, Kuala Lumpur

It is easy to find this restaurant, just located in famous street, Raja Alang, Kampung Baru. This restaurant has it own compound so there are great parking space but not sure how is the crowd would be during peak hour weekdays.

Nasi Padang (Part 3) – Nasi Padang Masakan Minang, Food Court Stall No. 17, Sect. 14 Petaling Jaya

I discovered this nasi padang stall couple years ago when looking for nasi padang places in the net. I found article about this place written by a food trailer in The Star Online November 2008. The stall is located in the food court, in the multilevel car park building, beside the Digital Mall in section 14 PJ. I come here at least once a month, thrilled out by the drool nasi padang. 

Nasi Padang / Nasi Minang - new assignments

Couple months ago I was thinking to cover some nasi Padang or nasi Minang eating place. It was hardly came to mind when I was drooling for nasi Padang in last Ramadhan. In fact I have had the nasi Padang yesterday and today's lunch at two different places. The nasi or Padang rice refer to the place origin from Padang Sumatra,  is a Minangkabau cuisine.
