To tell the truth I never ate Yong Too Fu before and ate my first Yong To Fu at this stall. The best thing is, this was in 1997 when I was bachelor, stayed in Pandan Indah. I was brought here by my uncle, Pok Su Nong to this stall in one evening and got my first taste of the Yong Too Fu. The stall was operated and managed by a Malay couple in front of their house yard, with helped by their kids. It is self-service concept where you choose what you want then put or dip them in the hot boiling water container.
The hot boiling water container have few divider on the surface so different kind of Yong Too Fu such as fish cake, fish ball and etc. will not mix up while dipping or left soaking in the hot water. After awhile you put them on a tin plate and place it in que as other patrons also line up their plate to take turn for the Yong Too Fu to be cut into smaller pieces and mixed with its sauces, sesame by the couple's kid. There are 2 types of kuah or sauce to eat your Yong Too Fu here, either with soup or with mixed sauces. The soup is made used of the boiling water that being dipped by the Yong Too Fu and used to serve Yong Too Fu soup. Another sauce is mixed of 2 sauces with little bit of the soup. After the seafood cakes and balls been cut and mixed with the sauce, then the price will be written at the edge-top of the plate with white-board marker by the kid.

It has been more than 13 years now since my first taste of Yong Too Fu at this stall. The taste of the mixed sauce is never change until now. Last time I saw the couple's youngest son was in the buaian (sarong baby rocker) and the son now cut the Yong Too Fu or make a drink for me. The stall stood still but improved with additional tables & chairs, little bit of kitchen improvement. There is also nasi lemak added to the menu besides the only Yong Tao Fu. I reckon nothing much change but I noticed there were more chairs, tables and so on the crowd. Started from long time ago, I enjoy Yong Too Fu but only at this stall, never been or bought from other places. If I am not mistaken, this stall operates everyday from 12pm to 9pm, except on Friday. How to go there? If you come from Jalan Tun Razak heading to Kampung Pandan roundabout, take 9 o'clock at the roundabout heading to Kampung Pandan and maintain left lane towards to Kampung Pandan. After pass the Petronas and food court on your right maintain right lane at the traffic light infront of the Naza Motor. Then turn right into the junction and maintain right since the road is one way flow. After you pass the Kg Pandan Kari Kepala Ikan Restaurant and Sekolah Agama Rakyat, few metres after that you will see the stall in the house yard with cement fence. It is really tempting, well it is Ramadhan now!
