Restoran Rebung – Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

This restaurant owned by two partners, the celebrity chef Dato’ Chef Ismail and our first Malaysian astronaut, Datuk Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al Masrie Sheikh Mustapha. Located in Bangsar, Lorong Maarof, behind the Dataran Maybank, at the renovated house-restraurant. Its interior pretty well decorated with cupboard of antiques, art frames on the wall and it also has private dinning area that fit about ten people. It also has small stage for small event out side of the restaurant where the buffet spread counters located as well.

I reached there where the buffet hour almost finish so I had ala carte meal from the buffet dishes left over. The buffet spread most of the village dishes that all of them were so delicious. Besides, there were also Malay kueh such as roti jala, pisang goreng, nasi himpit kuah kacang and Malay sweet dessert.

 

I will come again here to experience the Malay dishes buffet properly. The parking is quite limited since the roadside parking is restricted.
