Solaris MeatWorks
For a meat lover and eater this restaurant is splendid place as it greets, "Welcome to Beeftopia!". The restaurant name itself, MeatWorks as it claims, serves for all your meaty craving, fresh dining and retail concept, inspired by a dedication to meat and great food. It was my first time, dined at the restaurant, all of because my Mem made reservation for our daughter birthday on that Friday. MeatWorks is rated in Malaysia's Best Restaurants 2010 by Malaysia Tatler and was the winner of the KLue best of 2009, in new restaurant of the year. The restaurant is located at Block H, Jalan Solaris 5, Solaris Mont' Kiara and it is easy to find, as you enter the main road of Solaris Mont' Kiara, you will see the restaurant on the left, at the end of the road just before the fountain roundabout.

MeatWorks inside
Meatworks presents a rustic charm where patrons can enjoy an alfresco dining, street-front or indoor setting seatings. Interior of the restaurant is really impressive with frames of jazz and blues artist (if not mistaken) on the wall with pretty well light up atmosphere. Its upper level The Deli, reserved for any private occasions or intimate celebrations. The perspective that I like most, is the front of the beverage counter where some tables and sideboard filled with bottles of syrup, coffee and herbs, etc. I was quite surprised when looking into the extensive menu that also offers lamb, soup and salads, seafood, pastas, sweet indulgence and kid's menu, etc. We had Brontosaurus steak (RM11 per 100g) for my Mem, daughter and me to share and Super Chicken Bites(RM13) for my son. It was not the dinosaur species steak that we have had but Brontosaurus steak is actually part of meat with big rib bone, I think. It was really tasty with juicy meaty sweet and even though it sticked with the bone, you will not finish it by yourself. I never had this kind of steak before, it is served on top of thin block of wood with mashed potatoes salad. I only have carrot juice (RM9.8) for drink, Shirley Temple (RM15), it is kind of mocktail for my Mem and kids got cold Chamomile (RM7.8) for their drinks. We got Banana Split (RM18) after really enjoyed the only left the Brontosaurus bone.
Brontosaurus

I recommend this restaurant to meat lovers and the best things is, MeatWorks use local rearing meat which sourcing the world's best livestock as it claims. Have you ever eaten organic milk-fed lamb steak or the juiciest, freshest and most tender meats? Then you should try it all at MeatWorks and although my dinner was quite expensive but it was really worthwhile delight to enjoy the steak here. I really suggest you make a reservation and pre-order before dine here so you will not die drooling craving for your steak since some of the steaks need about one hour preparation time such as Brontosaurus steak. Reservation can be made either call at 03 62030871 or email to reservations@meatworks.com.my . For further enquiry you can contact Mr. Ryan L.Morong or email him at ryan@meatworks.com.my . MeatWorks is a restaurant, The Deli, butchery and meat studio.
