Nasi Padang (Part 3) – Nasi Padang Masakan Minang, Food Court Stall No. 17, Sect. 14 Petaling Jaya

I discovered this nasi padang stall couple years ago when looking for nasi padang places in the net. I found article about this place written by a food trailer in The Star Online November 2008. The stall is located in the food court, in the multilevel car park building, beside the Digital Mall in section 14 PJ. I come here at least once a month, thrilled out by the drool nasi padang

My favorite dishes when eating here are the daging dinding, fried chicken sambal (chili paste) , chili brinjal, gulai daging (Malay beef gravy), daging cincang (sliced minced beef with the fat attach cooked in gravy), hati /paru gulai hitam (beef liver cooked in Malay black gravy). One of the stall’s specialty and favorite, daging dinding or sliced pieces beef will be hacked first then mixed with some spice before ready to be fried. It then served with the chili paste toping. Not to forget the authentic of nasi padang is its sambal or chili paste, the red and green sambal. The price is quite reasonable compared to the delicacy of the dishes served here.

I tasted some nasi padang places but this stall is still my favorite. There are streched of other food stalls at the food court and your clothes will smell of cooking after you enjoy the food there. It still worth to drool the nasi padang to me even though got my cloth food court smell. You better call the stall owner (Pak Amran 016 3176469) first, if you want to try the daging dinding (pre-order, prepared on demand).
