Nasi Padang (Part 4) – Restoran Garuda Emas – Raja Alang, Kg. Baru, Kuala Lumpur


It is easy to find this restaurant, just located in famous street, Raja Alang, Kampung Baru. This restaurant has it own compound so there are great parking space but not sure how is the crowd would be during peak hour weekdays.







The 2 storey restaurant is fully air conditioned with convenience table and seating. They will serve most of the available dishes on your table and stack them like a building block. You can choose what you want to eat and put aside those you do not want. They have a lot of dishes even some I never seen and tasted before, such gulai babat(perut), gulai tunjang(urat), gulai usus, gulai otakI didn’t dare to try these dishes, anyway.

The dishes and gravy were so tasty and delicious, never forgotten to include the sambal hijau and merah for the high taste.

I took tapai pulut daun getah (glutinous rice marinade with yeast and wrapped in rubber tree leave)  as dessert to cool down the hot taste. This restaurant have the tapai supply from Kelang and I can just say the tapai pulut really nice like my hometown made. Overall of the restaurant, the dishes are nice and tasty but I still prefer the Section 14 nasi padang.
