After watched Iron Man with kids and Mem couple weeks ago, we strolled around and came across this restaurant Fig & Olive. It's located at Lower Ground 2, Marrakesh corridor in Sunway Pyramid. I was caught by its really nice entrance with colorful pictures and a Vespa as backdrop. The interior deco, the wallpaper and color made my mood comfy and relax. I was told that this restaurant just opened a week old and they gave 10% off total bill, specially for their opening. The staffs and service were good and hoped the food would be better.
We were welcomed into restaurant and I chose to seat next to their beverage and cashier counter where just beside, along of the entrance.
When browsing to the menu, there were bunch of food listing divided by starter, salads, pasta and etc. The menu was quite attractive with the tempting dishes information and recommendation or order guide sign. I found most of the food were healthy or acceptable diet with good ingredient and material like fig, olive and etc, it's a taste of Mediterranean. Well I don't know how exactly the taste of the Mediterranean because never been in any of that countries before. My Mem ordered Figo Tapas(RM28.60) for us to share the starter and Fruit Margarita(RM8.50) as her drink and myself just a Moroccan Tea(RM4) and Granada Olivia Salata(RM9.9), sharing the healthy salad to my family.
We were actually have taken our lunch before the movie and in fact my kids insisted to eat the Chick Rice Shop where few shops in front of this restaurant so we just tapaw for them and ate in this restaurant. So for our case here, outside food was allowed but it is not advisable to you folks.
