Techy Memoirs

I've seen lots of changes in my life, people and things around me as time fly over and over and I just got another year older couple days ago. Still remember, my folk nagged at my brothers and me, for sneaking out to watch tv at my neighbor's place.
Few years later Abah managed to get a tv for our home but then we still sneaked out to watch color tv at neighbor's.

When we wake up today, buzzed by PDA alarm clock till we get another sweet dream in the air conditioned bedroom. It'd not be the same as our grand folks before, chop firewood to have hot bath. As Pok Mat Nong Pulau Kambing wouldn't miss to fetch a morning newspaper to our house as we could hear from his old muto nambang sound motorcycle coming from half mile afar.  I never forget when Ma asked me to go to Cik Pah house early morning to buy fresh cooked nasi lemak before she packed them to the Cik Pah kedai kopi at Jalan Bukit Kechik. While nowadays we read newspaper on the square screen within the mouse click while enjoying morning espresso with apple crumble at the kopikacang or stabak. Nevertheless see some primary school kids at the bus stop with their busy fingers on their mobile phone, messaging friends. As we quietly read boss email questioning about our reports or works and eagerly read our friend's mukabuku post.

Thinking that we gratefully to have lots of changes in doing our daily chores where most of them done with help of the innovated things. As a today generation human being, there are challenges that we have to face with all of the changes around us. Questions as, are we ready and what are our preparation to get along on today's life or are we will be left behind or will be doing better in contributing our responsibilities as a muslim, son or daughter, father or mother, for instances. What are the challenges living in today's life all along with the invented things around us as our folks doing previously? Is the change give an advantage or viceversa?
