Alissara Thai Cuisine – Puchong Indah, Selangor

I reckon this restaurant serves the best tomyum nearby my area, so far. Unfortunately I could not try their Thai named dishes which look so nice and delicious, got to repeat to this restaurant next time. The Alissara fried rice is tasty but beware for those who cannot take extreme flaming hot stuff!, it is really hot fried rice. It is some kind of nasi goreng kampung (old folk fried rice) but with ingredients of lemon grass cut, anchovies, cut of torch ginger bud/ginger flower (bunga kantan) and etc. It is strange that I could not find any pieces of chilli in the fried rice but it is really hot. Crab fried rice is quite nice as well but I love the side dishes, called Kai Jor in Thai. It is sort of chicken meat ball but blended with corn and not sure what else mixed in it but it is really tasty.

Alissara Thai Cuisine serves authentic Thai traditional dishes. It is located in Puchong Indah, Jalan Indah 3/2 at corner shop lot, little bit hidden from the main road. Once you enter Puchong Perdana, after the "floating" mosque, turn to three o’clock roundabout towards to Puchong Indah. When seeing Esso gas station on your right, turn into left at the junction after few metres from Esso. You will see shops lot on your left and Alissara located at the end of the lot, back row.

When entering the restaurant, I saw most of the tables already reserved by someone but luckily managed to get a table for four. I saw any available tables will soon be seated by new dinners coming in.This restaurant open daily from 5.30pm to 1.30am and reservation or further enquiry can be made by calling at 03 8062 4205 or 019 5178 157.
