Village Park Restaurant – Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya

This restaurant really got its crowd during Saturday breakfast hour but not sure how it is during week days. It has to put up a temporary tent in front of the restaurant due to insufficient table inside of the shop. The restaurant located at the shops row at Jalan SS21/37, within Damansara Uptown and the parking space is quite terrible, you need to park further or at the nearby multilevel parking building. It has quite number of workers, most of them are foreigners and I reckon that they are not really customer’s friendly because they rush here and there for orders, cleaning tables. I do not really enjoy the food with such hectic shop.

The food is variety of choices for breakfast as I scrolled the menu, with some sorts of kuih-muih, etc. but one menu really attracted me is my home town legacy, the Nasi Dagang with ikan aya / tongkol gravy (skipjack tuna) . Its Nasi Dagang rice taste is not really smooth and the gravy below the par as I used to but it is still fine for you if really drool for it in the city. The soto and its gravy so nice with the spice and hot of chilli. This restaurant speciality is the nasi lemak with variety of the dishes, make the long que of people along the counter. It will be my next visit to this restaurant to try out other food?
