Restoran d’Cengkih – Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur

You spoilt your morning exercise if you come to this restaurant for breakfast, I bet! Restoran d’Cengkih serves so variety of food and dishes, from traditional kuih-muih till heavy dishes such as pulut kuning, seafood spaghetti aglio, fried rice, nasi lemak, laksa Johor and etc. Even though their specialty is Johorian dishes, they also have other nice and delicious dishes as well. The interior of the restaurant is very convenience to dine in, we can see some part of the wall hang with the Johor historical building and figures fame and beautiful wood structure.

You might have had lontong before but besides the usual lontong, it also has dry lontong here. It is good, taste little bit of tauchu differently from the usual lontong with full gravy.

The pulut panggang is also nice despite of different shape and banana leaf wrapping from my hometown pulut lepe.

I normally come to this restaurant on Saturday morning, enjoy nice food for breakfast and relax musics by the in house single piece entertainer and I always skip my lunch for the day. d’Cengkih closes on every Monday, not sure the kind of dishes they serve from lunch hour to evening.
